Texas, like so many regions in the world, is facing a water crisis fueled in recent years by persistent drought, increasing urban development, and traditional water sourcing and management practices inconsistent with water quality protection, plant biodiversity, flood mitigation, fire mitigation, groundwater recharge, and wildlife and water conservation.
The Texas WaterChat podcast is launching in February 2025 with support from KWVH Wimberley Valley Radio in Central Texas. It is part of a much larger multi-pronged project engaging all water resource stakeholders.
Our mission is to promote awareness, education, and collaboration among players affected by and affecting water resources in Texas to generate smart solutions.
This project is to provide an educational public service and public relations forum, and is strictly NOT investigative or political.

Career breaks or slowdowns for childrearing have long contributed to women's underrepresentation in corporate and civic leadership.
We're initiating a large-scale cooperative research program and educational campaign to inform development of institutional programs and policies that will help caregivers avoid and overcome career gaps at levels and compensation appropriate to their experience and capabilities.
The project is now forming, and we're developing specific project proposals, establishing communications and engagement mechanisms, and soliciting funding in the form of foundation grants and co-op participation from the private sector through their nonprofit partners and corporate social responsibility programs. We are also engaging the support of top academic institutions and alumni associations, tapping their talent for the project, as well as to identify potential study participants.
We encourage you to get involved.
